Features and Amenities

Check out the brand new downtown YMCA, just a few blocks from our finish line, at 930 N. Monroe Street. This state-of-the-art 80,000 sq.ft. facility is scheduled to open in April, 2009.  We are pleased and grateful that the Y will allow our runners to use their showers after the race!  This feature makes it so much easier to stay and play downtown all afternoon!

Bus Transportation will be provided from the host hotel and finish line area to the starting lines.  We will also run buses after the race back to the starting lines for those who choose to drive to the start where ample parking will be available.  Schedules will be provided as race day nears.

Gear Bags will be provided and transported from the starting line to the finish area.  We cannot insure valuables in the bags, but be assured that our volunteers will handle them with care and with attention to security.  We want to make it easy for you to stay and play downtown!

Race day is also the day Spokane celebrates its annual Lilac Festival, including the Armed Forces Torchlight Parade later in the evening.  For details of the happenings at the Festival, click here to check out their website.
