"kids for kids" marathon

Windermere Real Estate has been a perennial supporter of the Spokane Guilds' School & Neuromuscular Center, a highly reputed institution that benefits children, with developmental disabilities from birth to three years of age.  A main feature of their annual fund-raising campaign is the  kids for kids penny drive.  The Windermere Marathon just couldn't pass up a chance to add to all of the other fundraising events by adding the  kids for kids marathon to our weekend of activities. 

Participants, entered by their parents or legal guardians, will complete 25 miles of running or jogging during the months prior to the event.  Their completed running logs will be certified by parents, teachers, coaches or others who have supervised their performance.  On Saturday, May 16, the participants will run the final 1.2 miles, finishing under the Windermere finish line banner.  Commemorative T-Shirts and medals will be awarded to all participants.

After a child is registered, use the mileage log to tally the first twenty-five miles.  Bring this form to the Expo to pick up the child's race packet.
